How can I donate to the scholarship fund?

Yes! Federal law and most states reward charitable giving, however deduction eligibility varies by jurisdiction. For more information, see the MSU Alumni Foundation’s tax advantages page and consult your tax advisor.
Who is eligible for an award from the fund?
The fund will make awards to applicants at Montana State University with past active duty military service and honorable discharge, or to spouses or children of past active duty military service members with honorable discharge. Recipients need at least sophomore credit standing or higher and a college GPA of at least 2.5 on the 4.0 scale. The Montana State Veterans Services Office will consider applicants and make awards.
How can I apply for an award from the fund?
Montana State University administers the scholarship award. With adequate funding, awards will begin for the fall 2016 semester. For questions about applying, contact Brenda York, the Director of the Montana State Veterans Services Office.
